It is an offense to nature and the American Way to begin a new year of school during the second week of July but, whatever. Here we are at the bus stop, located across the street from our house (joy!) and Tommy definitely thinks he'll be boarding that bus when it comes. I have no idea why Josie chose a dress for today. I'm not complaining, mind you. Just baffled. Josie and Jon will be attending Ms. Cundy's second grade class. As an added bonus, Ms. Cundy is "pretty hot", to quote the inappropriate yet amusing Jon as he made his way out of the "meet and greet" yesterday. I concur, she is beeeyoootiful. Jon has always had an eye for the ladies...
Calvin is back with Mrs. Kuzma, also quite attractive, and this time he gets her for the whole year. Last year she filled in for Mrs. St. Louis during the last few weeks of 3rd grade when Lucy was born. We already know what a great teacher she is, and she already knows all about Calvin's What Homework?? shenanigans. Poor Calvin! She has got his number already!

1st day of school in July???? Holy Smokes! So, it's you and Tommy again? Sounds peaceful, well more like a different kind of adventure. We've got another month and 1/2 or so to go before we get back into the school routine.
